Befor this movie Tamil film 'Kalyanam' was made in 24 hour and a Tulu movie 'September 8' was made in 24 hours by Dr Richar Castellino. Cameraman and producer of Kannada movies Anaji Nagaraj says that although the movie has shot in 18 hours, there was eight months preparation for the movie. The Kannada movie 'Sugreeva' starring popular Kannada actor Shivrajkumar has been used 10 cameramen and 10 directors. This kannada movie will add to Guinness World Record for a movie made in shortest time. Nagaraj has already paid 400 pounds (Rs 35,000) as registration for Guinness Book of World Records.
