Khatta Meetha Movie Reviews, Ratings - Akshay Kumar, Trisha

Khatta Meetha Movie Reviews and star Ratings - Akshay Kumar, Trisha. Latest Bollywood Hindi movie Khatta Meetha Reviews and Ratings starring actor Akshay Kumar and south actress Trisha, here are the reviews -

Rediff - 2/5
Khatta Meetha projects itself as a witty satire with reference to someone as reputed as Laxman but its uneven mood shift from ironical to intense augmented by cheesy dialogues like 'Keechad mein baithe suwar ki tarah sust kyon ho?' begs you not to be taken seriously.

Bollywood Hungama - 1.5/5
On the whole, KHATTA MEETHA is a major letdown from the accomplished director. It's not a full-blown comedy. It's not a full-scale satire either. Hugely disappointing!

Times of India - 3/5
Priyadarshan sure must be one of the most prolific film makers in the industry, currently. More importantly, he has the uncanny knack of dabbling with different genres of cinema which include a rip-roaring comedy like Hera Pheri neatly juxtaposed against the artistic, award-winning Kancheevaram.

India Glitz - 2/5
‘Khatta Meetha’ is a promise that fails to deliver up to its potential, only for die hard Akshay fans who religiously watch his every release.

'I Hate Luv Storys' Movie Review - Sonam kapoor, Imran Khan

'I Hate Luv Storys' Movie Review - Sonam kapoor, Imran Khan. Latest Bollywood movie 'I Hate Luv Storys' Movie Review starring Sonam kapoor and Imran Khan in lead roles, here are the reviews -

BollywoodHungama - 3.5/5
On the whole, I HATE LUV STORYS is a young and vibrant love story with tremendous appeal for the yuppies. The fresh pairing and the on-screen electrifying chemistry, the lilting musical score and the magical moments in the film should attract its target audience - the youth - in hordes. If you're young or young at heart, this one's for you!

GlamSham - 2.5/5
The chemistry between Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor lacks spark. Samir Soni is very impressive. Sameer Dattani is completely wasted. Bruna Abdullah looks stupid but probably that is what was expected of the character. Karan Dave gets to say some of funniest dialogues and is decent. I HATE LUV STORYS wouldn't make you fall in love with it.

TimesofIndia - 3/5
First things first. Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor make an interesting pair. After the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif coupling, this seems to be the most refreshing jodi that's jaunting and jiving on screen. Nice chemistry. Nice tu-tu-main-main (sparring). Nice physical compatibility. And a well-balanced emotional quotient. Kudos to the two of them to carry forth a film which once again doesn't really have anything to boast about in the `storys' department.

Maniratnam's Raavan Movie Review - Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan

Maniratnam's Raavan Movie Review - Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan. Mani Ratnam's Ash-Abhi starrer Film Raavan Review : Raavan movie is a loose version of the great Indian epic Ramayana and here are the reviews -

BollywoodHungama - 1.5/5
On the whole, RAAVAN is a king-sized disappointment, in terms of content. From the business point of view, a Mani Ratnam film might ensure a healthy opening [at plexes mainly], but the weak script on one hand and the heavy price tag on the other will make RAAVAN see red.

TimesofIndia - 3.5/5
The epics return again to contemporary cinema. After a re-telling of the Mahabharata against a political backdrop in Prakash Jha's Raajneeti, cineastes can now feast their eyes on a modern-day rewrite of the Ramayana, against a cops-and-robbers canvas.

Telugu Movie Vedam Reviews - Allu Arjun, Anushka shetty

Telugu Movie Vedam Reviews - Allu Arjun, Anushka shetty. The movie Vedam is directed from the director of 'Gamyam' and stars Allu Arjun, Anushka shetty and Manoj Manchu in leads, here are the reviews -

Idlebrain - 3.5/5
I would like to declare here that Vedam is not an entertainment oriented film. It is a film on humanity and is narrated in new format. And there are under-current commercial elements. I loved this movie and it doesn’t mean that it will be liked the same way by everybody else. If you are purely an entertainment seeker, you may seek other sources of feedback without solely depending on my review.

IndiaGlitz - 4/5
Reiterating the point that Krish has taken Tollywood to the next level, his ‘Vedam’ is a genesis that other film makers will start to contemplate about. He has touched every aspect of life be it religion or money and carefully conveyed a message about good living. This movie is a clear winner and any rating will only be too less. Hats off Radha Krishna!

Rajneeti Movie Review - Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor

Rajneeti Movie Review - Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor. Bollywood new movie Rajneeti film Review starring Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor and many others in lead roles, here are the reviews -

Rediff - 1.5/5
Seth's power-starved trollop drops her pallu and keeps begging men for a ticket, any ticket. I'm assuming she won't be satisfied with one for this film.

BollywoodHungama - 4/5
On the whole, RAAJNEETI makes a sweeping impact. A truly admirable effort, this brilliant film is not to be missed.

The Times of India - 4/5
Take time out for a serious and compelling celluloid experience. Don't miss Raajneeti.

Sajid khan's Housefull Movie Review - Akshay kumar, Deepika padukone

Sajid khan's Housefull Movie Review - Akshay kumar, Deepika padukone. The movie Housefull stars Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Ritesh Deshmukh, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Boman Irani and Randhir Kapoor and here are the reviews -

One India - 3/5
After a long painful drought (thanks to the exam season and IPL matches) of plain boring to irritating films arrives Sajid Khan’s Housefull. While in totality it does fall short of being the big great summer entertainer that it is been claiming to be, it however manages to bring many laughs for you. However, eventually it settles down in familiar territory.

Atithi tum kab jaoge review - Ajay devgan, Konkona sen

Latet Bollywood movie Atithi tum kab jaoge review starring Ajay devgan, Konkona sen sharma and Paresh rawal. Warner Bros production Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? is based on Sharad Joshi's novel Tum Kab Jaoge Atithi and here are the reviews -

Rediff - 2.5/5
Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge is an impressive film. Besides the lead actors, character actors like Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari and Satish Kaushik also do well.

Buzz 18 - 3/5
All in all, Atithi... is a family film, and seems like a best bet this week to watch with one's family, as compared to the other films.

BollywoodHungama - 3.5/5
On the whole, ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? is a hilarious movie, but unlike any slapstick comedy. It's a light-hearted film with sensibility, humour and a strong undercurrent of emotion. This atithi is sure to find a place in your heart!

Karthik Calling Karthik Review - Deepika, Farhan

New Bollywood movie Karthik Calling Karthik Review which stars Deepika padukone and Farhan akhtar in lead roles. Here are the reviews of movie Karthik Calling Karthik -

Rediff - 2.5/5
Films like Karthik Calling Karthik are all about winding up right. This one fails to make a connect. Pity, it could have been that all important call you've always been waiting for.

IBNLIVE - 3.5/5
Vijay Lalwani shows that Taare Zameen Par and My Name is Khan are not the only two ways to treat sensitive subjects on celluloid. But the film does not have repeat value once you know the suspense.

IndiaGlitz - 3/5
‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ projects the same sense of style that will inevitably be compared to a cross between Asian and Europe cinema that shows glimpse of steely technical mastery in the service of a story that demands an involving narrative. The movie does overlook some vital aspects in the characterization and takes liberties which are not easy to digest.

TimesofIndia - 3.5/5
Rock On, Luck By Chance and now Karthik Calling Karthik...seriously guys, Farhan Akhtar is turning out to be a revelation as an actor.

Sify - 3.5/5
Overall, the film is a wholesome entertainer with plenty of plots and sub-plots. The only person missing from the sequel is actor-cum-producer Dwarakish.

IndiaGlitz - 4.5/5
The film has chilling special effects and graphics. The DTS sound is absorbing. The selection of locations is precise. This is a must watch movie!

One India - 3/5
Director P Vasu has tried to include enough number of twists and turns to make the movie Aaptha Rakshaka interesting. He has a tight grip over the narration too. But the story is weak, predictable and lacks freshness.

My name is khan movie review - Shahrukh Khan, Kajol devgan

Much awaited Bollywood movie My name is khan review. The movie My name is khan stars Shahrukh Khan and Kajol devgan in lead roles, which is directed by Karan johar. Here are the movie reviews by different sources -

BollywoodHungama - 4.5/5
On the whole, MY NAME IS KHAN is a fascinating love story, has an angle of religion and a world-shaking incident as a backdrop. It not only entertains, but also mesmerises, enthrals and captivates the viewer in those 2.40 hours. At the same time, a film like MY NAME IS KHAN is sure to have a far-reaching influence due to its noble theme. I strongly advocate, don't miss this one!

MiD DAY - 4/5
Brave the protests and head for the nearest cinema hall. MNIK is a must-watch. The Karan-Shah Rukh-Kajol combo strikes once more.

Rediff - 3/5
Such restrain, sadly, is demonstrated on sporadic occasions what with Johar so intent on spelling out everything that goes on in Khan's mind. The verbose nature of the script doesn't leave much scope for gestures. Although the image of Khan standing on a deserted highway with a sign board that reads 'Repair almost everything' is true to the soul of this film. Even if it's the only one of its kind.

TimeofIndia - 5/5
Karan Johar comes of age. He tells a complex story with sparkling simplicity, without forgetting that cinema is primarily meant to entertain. Shah Rukh is stupendous, Kajol mesmerising, Zarina Wahab moving and the kids -- Tanay and Yuvaan -- are brilliant.

Buzz18 - 3/5
One of the important films of Hindi cinema. Although it messes up its length, there are some touching scenes not to be missed. My Name is Khan has many messages and not just an 'Autism Alert' and 'Terror Alert'. Go for it and enjoy interpreting.

Siddarth's 2nd Bollywood movie Striker review

Actor Siddarth's 2nd Bollywood movie Striker review. New Hindi film Striker review starring Siddarth and Padmapriya in lead roles, and here are the reviews -

TimesofIndia - 3/5
Don't believe the lack lustre promos. The film has more meat -- and meaning -- than it promises.

Buzz18 - 2.5/5
All in all, it's difficult to say if Striker will work in multiplexes or single screens. But if the plot were a little cleaner and crisper, it would've struck a chord with everyone.

BollywoodHungama - 1.5/5
On the whole, STRIKER lacks a solid script to strike a chord.

NDTV - 2.5/5
Striker just isn’t compelling enough for a trip to the theater. But there are many good things here. So I recommend that you wait for the DVD.

Hindi film Ishqiya review - Vidya balan, Arshad warsi

Latest Hindi film Ishqiya review starring Vidya balan, Arshad warsi and Naseeruddin shah. Read reviews from different websites -

BollywoodHungama - 4/5
On the whole, ISHQIYA is definitely worth a watch. The film has a riveting plot, great performances, soulful music, an absorbing story and skilful direction to make the viewer fall in ishq with it. It should appeal to the hardcore masses as also the multiplex junta.

Rediff - 3.5/5
Although one of the best moments of Ishqiya comes during the climax as three maverick Ishqians walk away from a scene of destruction to Bharadwaj's escalating score, an unmistakable ode to the genius of Ennio Morricone

Indiatimes - 3.5/5
Ishqiya certainly is a film you will fall in love with.

NDTV - 3.5/5
I strongly recommend that you see it.

RGV's Rann movie reviews

RGV's Rann movie reviews vy different sources. Bollywood film Rann stars Amitabh bachchan, Ritesh deshmukh, Sudeep, Gul panag and Paresh rawal. Here are the reviews -

BollywoodHungama – 3.5/5
On the whole, RANN is truly a well-made film. No two opinions on that. The film should be patronised by viewers of serious, sensible cinema. Recommended!

ApunkaChoice – 3/5
If you are looking for a dose of serious cinema, ‘Rann’ is the answer.

DNAIndia – 2/5
If he insists on continuing with his style of filmmaking, the least he can do is ensure that there’s a great script to back it up. This one, though, seems to be a rush job.

TimesofIndia – 2.5/5
To be honest (like the film demands), Rann is not a new story but the news battle setting saves it from getting run-of-the-mill.

Salman khan's Veer movie review

Salman khan's Veer movie review. Veer is a 2010 Hindi film directed by Anil Sharma, and starring Salman Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Sohail Khan and Jackie Shroff. The film, written by Salman Khan, is an epic film set in 1825 when the British were ruling India. Here are the reviews -

Rediff - 1/5
The film is mounted on a massive scale, and you do see hundreds of extras milling about - but they clearly don't matter. All that does is Salman, who cashes in every ounce of his insouciant brat-star persona to lug this film forward and, credit where its due, comes off as likeable for at least the first hour, which is more than most could have with a film this catastrophic.

Indiatimes - 2.5/5
You have to be a braveheart to watch Veer.

NDTV - 2.5/5
The film has many such moments that are so over the top that words cannot convey their full comic impact. If like me, you can find delight in the sheer delirium of a bad Bollywood film, then see Veer, otherwise do catch it on DVD.

BollywoodHungama - 1.5/5
On the whole, VEER proves the age-old adage true: All that glitters is not gold. The film may open very well at single screens thanks to Salman's popularity and the hype surrounding the film and may also enjoy a healthy extended weekend.

Jr. NTR's Telugu film Adurs review

Jr. NTR's Telugu film Adurs review. Latest Tollywood movie Adurs starring Jr. NTR, Sheela and Nayanatara. Here are the reviews -

IndiaGlitz - 2.5/5
Nayana and Sheela have nothing to do except shaking legs with NTR. Dialogues, otherwise good in comedy scenes, are quite poor. Had NTR repeated a thumping performance and shown some wise dialogue diction as the junior priest (watch him speaking in a whole new diction and you find him inadequate), the film would have not been a nightmare for his fans.

Idlebrain - 3/5
The story and screenplay are the weaklings. VV Vinayak should have concentrated more on Narasimha character to get the balance in terms of emotion and action orientation. We have to wait and see how the masses receive it.
